This box at the scale of the hand emphasizes the lathe-work. The wood lathe for the container, naturally tinted in blue, and the spinning work for the lid. The brilliant silver finish, applied to an asymmetric and rounded form, makes a contrast with the simple form of the body and the wood’s matt effect.
Materials: Plain chestnut wood naturally blue stained and waxed, turned copper top with a silver finish.
